You Were Never Here Chunky Boots

If anyone asks ... deny everything.

The KLF You Were Never Here Chunky Boots belong to the part of the Blackout Division where the paperwork disappears, the cameras mysteriously stop working, and nobody remembers authorizing the operation in the first place.

The artwork is built like a classified file that survived long enough to become evidence: surveillance photographs, blacked-out documents, fingerprints, restricted maps, coordinates, serial numbers, encrypted communications, torn reports, warning stamps, night vision imagery, skull details, and fragments of information somebody clearly didn't want left behind.

Matte black and charcoal dominate the design, broken up by military olive, dirty white, aged paper tones, and flashes of warning red. The result is dark, industrial, paranoid, and intentionally rough around the edges.

Then come the messages:

“YOU WERE NEVER HERE.”
“NO RECORD EXISTS.”
“ACCESS DENIED.”
“IF ANYONE ASKS — DENY EVERYTHING.”
“BLACKOUT DIVISION.”
“NO SIGNAL. STILL REAL.”

Coordinates lead nowhere useful. Names disappear beneath redaction bars. Surveillance images raise more questions than they answer. Fingerprints exist without explanations. Files have numbers but apparently no owners.

Exactly as intended.

This isn't about pretending to wear official military gear. It's KLF taking the visual language of classified operations, industrial equipment, surveillance culture, and redacted history and turning it into something darker.

Something that looks like it knows too much.

No witnesses. No paperwork. No record.

You were never here.
